I remember being a young man, around twenty or so, and being good-looking and confident, and I was laying around one day trying to remember how that felt. I was physically fit and I liked working hard to stay that way. I never had any trouble picking up women when I was younger, and I may not have been a total hunk, but I definitely got some looks from some very beautiful women. Things like going to the beach or going to gym were always something I looked forward to because I could have fun, feel the adrenaline of getting a good work out in, and get some attention for my rather fit body.
Even though it wasn’t all that many years ago, depending on how you look at it, my body just wasn’t close to being up to the level of fitness that it was at then. There were no gorgeous women getting an eyeful of me while I was laying on my favorite futon, I know that much, and it seemed like that’s all I ever felt like doing. When it dawned on me that I didn’t even want women to see how unfit I was now, that’s when I started to really feel uneasy about it all. I almost felt like I was the same individual I had always been, only now the body I was living in was totally different.
He said he’d been using some spectacular Growth RX, and that I ought to go online and find Growth RX testimonial. I just came out and asked him if this stuff was the reason that his muscle tone had changed so dramatically over the past couple of months, and he said, yes. It was common sense to go look into it.
Am I ever glad I did. I investigated Growth-Rx thoroughly. The testimonials were quite impressive, and that made me check out the ingredients, too. I don’t like to pour things into my body that aren’t made of natural ingredients, but this stuff was made of natural ingredients, so I was ok there. When I saw that it offered higher energy and quicker healing of muscles after a work out, I opted to give it a shot; I had already seen that it would define muscles and reduce fat by looking at my friend’s body.
It really had an awesome impact on me. I can put on pants and shorts that have been sitting in my closet unworn for more years than I care to think about. The muscles in my arms and legs quickly became more defined. It could have been the increase in my energy level, or maybe it was the faster healing time for my muscles, but regardless of the reason, I definitely noticed an uptick in the duration and intensity of the work-outs I was doing. More and more each day, I began to feel like having the same body I did in my twenties was a goal that was now attainable for me. I didn’t just feel better physically, either; I was able to feel stronger and more stable emotionally as well, because I knew that I was doing the right thing for my body.
As you can imagine, when I caught a much younger woman in her prime checking me out from head to toe at the grocery store recently, I felt like I was back on top of the world. I loved getting that type of attention again. She wasn’t going to be the only girl getting an eyeful of me now that I was unlocking my physical potential with Growth Rx. I still like to relax on the couch, but from now on, I won’t be sitting there all alone.

Saturday, May 16th, 2009Spectacular Handkerchiefs!!!
Saturday, May 16th, 2009This was my first marriage and I wanted to plan the perfect wedding shower. I needed help, so I asked my sister if she would like to help me plan it. My sister agreed to help me and was excited about it. I know there is a lot of work to be done when planning a shower and I was eager to get started. I always was good at planning showers, so I knew I could make this wedding shower a success. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
Me and my sister were looking for a place to have the shower and enough space for all the guests. We found a hall close by my home. We started looking on the web for decorations and gifts. We found a lot of themed wedding shower ideas that were so adorable. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. I needed to find the shower favors. There was a big variety to choose from. This took some time to decide when looking at all the wonderful shower favors. When I came across a spectacular handkerchief, I knew that is what I wanted my guests to get as a gift. I thought I could purchase one for me and have it on me the day I get married. I seen a hankerchief that was so beautiful. I was so sure that all my guests would fall in love with the ladies handkerchiefs. My decision was to pick the lace handkerchief for my guests.
Everything was turning out. We booked the hall and purchased the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. I was going to have it catered, but it was way too expensive for my budget. I looked through all my recipes and found some great dishes that I and my sister could make in no time. We placed the order for the cake at a bakery near us. All the planning was finished. I picked out these gorgeous invitations and mailed them. Now it was a waiting game, waiting for the day of the shower.
The day finally arrived and we went to hall to set up the shower. It took us about an hour to decorate the hall. When we were done decorating the room, we couldn’t get over how awesome the room looked. Luckly I bought my camera with me because I wanted to remember how gorgeous the room looked. The tables each had a centerpiece on it and the cake was put on the same table where we but the food. We put a cotton handkerchief at each setting. If you saw the room, you would say the room looked so elegant.
We all had an excellent time with my family and friends. We all enjoyed each other’s company. We had fun playing games and eating. My guests talked about how much they enjoyed getting a handkerchief. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. It made me sad when the shower was ending, because I really enjoyed myself and my guests did to.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. It made me glad that I chose a handkerchief for my wedding favor. My shower was a success and will be in my memory always. I also am grateful that I had my sister to help me plan my wedding shower. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this.|It made me feel good that she was by my side through this.|She really touched my heart during this.[/spin] I picked her to be my maid of honor, because of that.
Spectacular Hearts Favors!
Saturday, May 16th, 2009The theme they chose was a spectacular heart wedding, and it was a very loving one one for them to choose. From the invitations to the wedding favors everything had cute little hearts on it. The cheap hearts favors were really exquisite with two silver hearts printed on the front with all the necessary information on where, who and when printed inside. It was a handsome way to design an invitation. Even their unity candle for the ceremony had two little hearts hanging in front, and there were gorgeous candle holders for the unity candle and the tapered candles as well. The look of the altar was glorious, with brilliant flower arrangements and candle settings. The tulle was strung from pew to pew, with little hearts on the pews as well. The fact that they tied the knot on Valentine’s Day no doubt had something to do with the whole hearts idea. I have to admit it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride was simply stunning.
At the reception there were hearts and flowers everywhere you looked. The silver hearts wedding theme carried over to the place cards holders at the reception tables, and they complimented the red and white rose centerpieces beautifully. The tables all looked elegant with the sparkling champagne flutes and the lovely wine glasses. She really did do a bang up job on table décor There were customized wine glasses with the date of the wedding and the names of the couple, along with crystal champagne flutes. On the table that the wedding party sat at, the new couple had very special champagne glasses. They had a silver double hearts wedding insignia embossed on them, very similar to the hearts wedding invitation they sent out.
They had a little magnificent hearts wedding cake with five layers of heavenly confection. It looked as good as it tasted. They had a personalized wedding cake topper that was a spitting image of the two of them; come to think of it, this may have been the only item in the whole wedding that wasn’t a heart. The wedding cake topper was special, the only one of that type I’ve ever been exposed to. She said she bought it at a wedding website where she got all of her accessories and reception supplies. From a few pictures of the two of them, they created a look-alike cake topper figurine for each of them; it was very impressive. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
In the end, we gave a wedding heart to all of the guests. One gift was an adorable votive candle holder, and the other was a package of coffee, decorated differently for the ladies versus the men, that came with a heart-shaped utensil to scoop the coffee with. It struck me as a neat pair of gifts to give everyone. Actually they had a lot of cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. I know hearts are the a perfect choice for a Valentines Day wedding, but I was impressed with all the gorgeous decorations and accessories she found for everything. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That could work great on a birthday cake or maybe even a graduation cake, not just a wedding cake. She told me they have supplies and decorations for many events, and promised to show me where she shopped. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and the whole wedding was what every woman dreams of. I’m sure the bride and groom are having a great week in Mexico too. I’m looking forward to hearing all about it, and checking out the photos when they get back. From the pictures on the pamphlets she had, it looks like a beautiful place to visit.
Spectacular duck wedding favors
Saturday, May 16th, 2009I associated babies with childhood, and I associate childhood with Ernie singing ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One’ on Sesame Street. It seemed like a longshot, but I checked to see if there were any duck wedding favors available anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. They are really so cute and it was a lot better than I thought it would be with all the online shopping help I got for ideas. You can can a ton of different duck favors online, not just for showers but for birthday parties for younger kids as well.
The den in my basement was big enough to hold everyone, so I put tables down there with seating for four people. On one end of the room was a table for all the shower gifts and on the other side of the room I had a buffet style table set up with all kinds of finger foods, drinks and deserts, including an adorable little yellow duck shaped cake with the words baby girl on the bottom layer. There were posters of Donald and Daisy Duck, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and the rest of the Disney cast all over the place, and the Daisy Duck one was huge.
The place card holders I bought and put out at the shower were miniature pink picture frames that had a little ducky in each of the corners. The punch bowl had ducks painted all over it, as did the plates, napkins, glasses, and favor candles that each guest received as a gift. I went to a department store and purchased a little duck shaped baby bathtub and placed a glass punch bowl inside. When you looked at it, you just wanted to say, ‘aww, how sweet.’ I also bought duck molds and filled them with yellow colored water for duck shaped ice cubes. I took my duck idea to great extremes.
Other than a few things that people at school suggested to me, I borrowed most of my ideas from things I saw online. That’s where I found such cute little duck shower favors, like the spectacular little duck favor bookmarks and candle holders. The people at the shower thought they were to die for, and they got handed out to the winners of the games we did at the shower as well.
Before the guests starting arriving I filled a big square container with water and placed little rubber ducks in it. Underneath every rubber duck, I wrote a number, and the each guest plucked one out of the water as they arrived. Later on I drew a number out of a fish bowl and the person with that number won a prize. We had a lot of fun with the guess the baby picture game, too. Everyone was asked to bring a baby picture of themselves and I put them all on a board, and hung it on the wall. All of the people at the shower got a good look at all of the pictures on the board, and then they sat down and attempted to guess who was in what picture. The duck baby shower favor went to the one who guessed accurately on the most pictures.
The new mom had a bounty of awsome gifts for her baby, and good times were had by all. I’m very happy with the amount of help I got from going on the Internet. I pulled off one heck of a baby shower, even though it seemed pretty far-fetched at first. The idea of centering it around ducks made for an absolutely adorable theme.
Spectacular ceramic wedding favors
Saturday, May 16th, 2009When you are planning a wedding and reception I think the hardest part is trying to find the perfect wedding favor for your guests. There is choices like practical gifts that they can use at home, crystal gifts or maybe even ceramic wedding favors figurines. Whatever your preference, I found out there are an awful lot of each to choose from.
Even for the country western themed ceremony and reception I’m planning, I have run across great possibilities for ceramic favors for our guests. Every possible motif you could think of for your wedding and reception will still work with ceramic thank you gifts. Like the little tea caddys that I ran across online with nice black ceramic wedding trays to place them on. Some of the selection I checked out were tea lights, flower vases, and candle holders that would make awesome ceramic wedding gifts. Since I consider shopping for the wedding favors as the most difficult part of the planning, plus trying to decide from such a wide variety, I decided that it was the last thing I put on my list of things to do.
So, decorating my reception tables was the first task on hand. My centerpieces fit right in with a country western motif, as I used metal buckets filled with daisies, and used tablecloths with red and white checks over all the picnic tables. The little barbecue grills I picked out as place card holders were so cute, and I thought they would make adorable little souvenirs of our reception for our friends and family to keep. Since we were having a family cookout instead of having our party catered, I thought the little grills were a nice added touch. To have the feel of the old west, we added little miniature cowboy hats for everyone’s place setting and set out cowboy boot shaped glasses for them to drink from. I chose the really lovely honey pots and dippers, with a heart on the end on their handles, as the ceramic wedding favors for our guests, instead of the tea caddy I saw earlier. They were the perfect choice for our country western reception and they looked so cute. But, I came close to choosing one of the candle holders as their spectacular ceramic wedding because they were just so gorgeous. Our tables looked fantastic and with all the surrounding décor accessories, it looked like the perfect down home celebration.
With the haystacks we set up and the white lights twinkled in the trees, it was the epitome of a country wedding. Talk about a western themed wedding cake topper, ours was one of a cowgirl hog tying her groom and probably taking him to the preacher. Everyone seemed to get a lot of laughs out of our cake topper and we thought it was quite amusing too. There were lots of laughter at our reception, we all dance, and partied our little hearts out and had such a super time. The kids really had a great time on the hayride we had all fixed up for everyone, and that had to be one of the best times ever.
All of the people that were in our wedding ceremony got little gifts from us, like our bridesmaids and groomsmen. I bought for the ladies in my wedding party and my fiance chose the guys gifts, which were adorable little ceramic party favors for the girls and really neat looking cowboy steins for the guys. We bought a flower girl tee shirt and a ring bearer tee shirt for the adorable kids in the wedding. Our wedding party and all our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we bought them.
I also bought a few extras for myself, like a sharp little western themed guestbook and pen, picture album and I even ordered a cowboy hat for me and my husband that said bride and groom on them. I thought this would turn out great, but it was way more better than I had imagined, what a super party we had.
terrific memory book!
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009There are so many events in your life that you want to hold on to, that you can look back on later in life with fond memories. If only the bridal or baby showers that family and friends gave you , or your wedding day would last forever. I have a terrific photo memory books that I really treasure to help my relive those special days over and over again. I have my girls night out photo memory book from the night my sister and my friends threw me a phenominal wedding shower. I’ve got so many great pics of that very special night I shared with my friends. I have shots of all the crazy stuff we got into that night, along with some of how gorgeous-looking the décor of the party was. We really had a wild time and I’ve got super photos to prove it. I’ve even got a couple pictures of the male dancers we went to see. They knew how to work the crowd. That is definitely a night I’ll never forget, that was the first and only time I’ve ever been to a place that had male dancers. They may not be as famous as the Chippendale dancers, but these were more than entertaining, that’s for sure.
When I chose all the accessories and reception supplies for our wedding, I also made sure I had a memory book for all the wedding events and reception. I’m glad I got one with as many pages as I did. Actually, I had to get two of them to hold all of the pics. Once the books were full, I still had pictures left over. There were also pages for our guests signatures in one of the albums. We had my first initial and my husband’s first initial flanking the initial of our last name on the cover of our personalized memory books. These books have such a look of elegance with it’s satin ribbon and gorgeous fabric. We had to get more pages for them, and they offer a supply for that too.
I made sure that I had books to hold all my memories of every important event in my life so far. I don’t throw out my keepsake memory books, so I’m sure I’ll accumulate more and more. At the moment, I have books from my baby shower, wedding, and bachelorette party. I have a little girl that’s turning three next week and a little baby boy that is only one year old. My son has a blue book and my daughter has a pink one; we got the right colors because we found out what they’d be before they were born. Their first step and christening and so forth are in the books. We have fingerprints, birth certificates, and regular pictures of them in the baby memory books. I slipped an official invitation from the showers and wedding in each album as well. I could open up a photo gallery with all of the pictures I have stored away.
I intend to keep the memories of those wonderful days alive for the rest of my life, and I plan on keeping my memory books in the closet, no matter how much my husband keeps complaining. Of course, now I’m going to be shooting home videos on a camcorder that I recently purchased, so I’m focusing on making space on some shelving in the living room. So now, with the albums we have and the ones we will probably have in the future and all the videos I plan to record, I’m probably going to need a lot more room than originally planned. Well, a person needs to be able to go back in time every now and then, that’s just a part of who I am. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.
Terrific bride and groom gifts
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009You get bride and groom gifts at wedding showers, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties. Such get-togethers present a fun opportunity to give your almost-married friend a unique gift or two. I loved some of the stuff my hubby and I got. At our engagement party we got mostly cash in cards, which is also an awesome gift idea, but we got other things too that were really quite neat. We were given movie and dinner certificates, a bottle of champagne we could use for our wedding toast, two tickets to a Reds game, that we really enjoyed, and little things like that. Even though you don’t have to bear gifts at an engagement party, many of our friends and family did anyway.
At my husbands bachelor party the guys bought him some cool tee shirts that had things printed on it like, how he survived his bachelor party and one that just said groom on the front. He got more than one terrific groomsman gift, including some wine bottles and a sun visor that said ‘Groom’ on it. He came home from the party with an inflatable doll and a ball and chain that he said they made him wear the whole time the party was going on. The guys had other funny bride wedding gifts they gave him, to ad to the merriment of his bachelor party. My girlfriends gave me some lovely bride gifts, but I got my share of joke gifts along with them. I received a present with a big ribbon on top that turned out to be an elegant white evening bag made of satin with a crystal clasp on it. Inside the bag they had put little gifts like a manicure set, a girls night out tee shirt, a bride to be brooch and a few little necessities a girl likes to have with her. But I think my favorite little novelty bride gift was a throw pillow that said ‘tonight’ on one side, and ‘not tonight’ on the other. It was certainly the most unique throw pillow I’ve ever seen.
We didn’t get any joke bride and groom wedding gifts on our wedding day. We did get extras, like a couple of extra toasters, two identical set of dishes, and more waffle irons than we’ll ever need, but that’s par for the course with such a large wedding. We filled out a bridal registry and we received a food processor and china from that, along with some other things I had written down. My husband just adored the billards table and bar set that his parents gave us, and I know we will get a lot of use out of that. The plane tickets to get to the Greek Isles for our honeymoon came from my folks. We received a lot of wonderful gifts on our wedding day from our loving families and fantastic friends.
Having all our friends and family around us on this more than special day meant more to us than anything. They have shared so much with us, our last night of being single parties, our engagement party, and our wedding and reception. Being surrounded with great, supportive people like them is what makes life so much more enjoyable. It also helps to have friends that care enough to throw you a wild night with a bachelor party or a mind trippin girls night out bash. There is never a dull moment in our lives with the super great friends we have. Thank you notes could never begin to express how much we appreciate their love and support.
Terrific Party Invitations
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009The first thing I did when I decided to give my girlfriend a bridal shower was to put together a list of everything I was going to need for thte shower. The first priority was finding a engagement party invitation. Now I’m one of those women that really doesn’t like shopping where I have to fight the crowds, or wait in line for price checks, so I decided to go online and see what I could come up with for the bridal shower. That was the right thing to do. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. Some of the deals were just incredible. The bridal shower invitations were really nice with silver writing on the front and pearl embossed borders. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had terrific party invitations and bachelorette party invitations, too, along with other things.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. One style of place card holders caught my fancy. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. I paid a fraction of what I had expected, I had lots of accessories to choose from and I didn’t have to go with inferior products. Since the website also sold wedding invitations and favors, I let my friend who was about to get married know about it, since I was sure she could use a wide selection to pick from. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Next, I’m helping with my friends sons’ birthday party with the help of my favorite online store.
Terrific mikasa crystal
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009I went to a wedding last week where they had terrific mikasa crystal accessories on all of the reception tables. The place settings were so lovely with all the mikasa crystalsand gorgeous mikasa crystal glassware. The bride really has excellent taste in wedding décor and knows how to set an exquisite table. The mikasa accessories she had really added sparkle and elegance to her already beautiful table settings.
They had lovely little place card holders that were the cutest silver doves, with bride and groom placecards on their tails. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. The exquisite pillar candles she had for her centerpieces were so lovely with the floral ring around them. They gave out fantastic party favors for everyone at the reception. At every table setting was a lovely gift of mikasa crystal wedding favors. The beautiful mikasa crystal was packaged in such lovely favor boxes with nice little thank you hang tags attached.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It was absolutely perfect. I had to find out where she ordered her wedding accessories from, the cake topper would be great for my mom and dads’ renewal wedding for their anniversary.
I think one of the funniest part of this whole thing was when it was time for the garter toss. Watching the looks on the guys faces as the groom removed the garter from the brides leg, was priceless. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. The funniest part though, is that the winner of the garter toss was a widower in his 70’s that didn’t even want to participate in the toss. The old guy walked away with a big smile on his face.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the toast it was time for the bride and groom to take their place on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. Watching them dancing together, so elegantly, was so moving. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
We all wished the bride and groom good luck as they left for their honeymoon. Hawaii was the honeymoon destination, from what I was told by one of the guests. Looks like their honeymoon will be just as fabulous as their wedding was. The remaining guests stayed behind for hours and continued to party.
A couple of weeks later, I received a thank you note from the bride and groom for the wedding gift and for attending. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. She did let me in on her secret online wedding shopping site, where she supplied the mikasa crystal wedding and ordered that customized cake topper from. So today, I’m placing my order for the special cake topper and other accessories for my parents special renewal ceremony and reception.
terrific jewelry boxes
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into standard jewelry boxes. The array of jewelry boxes can be decked out in a plethora of styles and colors. For her wedding day, my daughter got her bridesmaids jewelry boxes, and one for herself as well. That was just the beginning of what I discovered while surfing the web for gift ideas. All kinds of ideas are on there for weddings in a specific theme, or more standard, old-fashioned types of weddings. My daughter and son in law chose to have a fairy tale themed wedding, with all the trimmings. They pulled it off in stunning fashion, her with long flowing veil and him with his extravagant tuxedo. It was a picturesque wedding. A horse drawn carriage with a driver in classical attire swept the two of them away from the church after the ceremony was over.
At the reception, tulle with tiny white lights was draped in a circle and there were elegant flower vases placed everywhere around the room. The tables at the reception had silvery sparkles and wonderful flower arrangements, and the bride and groom table sat in front of an arrangement of red and white roses with ivy strung along an arch. The reception tables twinkled even more with the silver tea light dove place card holders she selected. Flower and crystals adorned the small jewelry boxes that each lady at the wedding got as a gift. The men were given little key chains with the well known frog prince as a charm. The personalized jewelry boxes for the bridesmaids had black velvet-lined interiors and were made of wood and sliver-plated. The date of the wedding and name of the happy couple were inscribed in the boxes. The thank you gift my daughter gave the girls was very warmly received. It was a box like I used to have, I had no idea it was a terrific discount jewelry box, it was so expensive looking. The guys all got wine gifts sets with their names engraved on a small plaque. Those were great, one of a kind thank you gifts, in my opinion.
Her wedding cake topper was a really unique little dream castle that really showed off the lovliness of their three tiered wedding cake. She even found a cake knife set that matched up with her storybook theme and champagne flutes to go with it. Many of her decorations and supplies were top of the line, but she came in well below where I had expected on their wedding budget. They were firm about the fact that they did not want us to cover the bills from the wedding even though, as parents of the bride, we made it clear to them that we expected to pay for everything.
I cried as I watched them dance their first dance as husband and wife, it looked as if they were the only ones in the room. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. The guys got so rowdy trying to catch the garter, during the garter toss, that they had me laughing to no end. My daughter’s wedding day was as magical as she imagined it would be, and the whole thing was so special. Now they are on a honeymoon she’s always dreamed of. I can hardly wait for them to get back and tell me all about the fantastic sights they saw.
